Building on Momentum: Berkshire Grey Welcomes Dave Paratore as CEO

Customers, Partners, Employees, and Friends:

At Berkshire Grey, we are a company that is driven to have impact for our customers.  Our mission statement, from the earliest of days, is to help customers improve efficiency, raise quality, lower prices, and get goods to new places more rapidly with AI driven robotics.  Important values to us include integrity, honesty, hard work, and service – and we operate with said values.  Today we have systems in widespread use and are helping our customers in measurable positive ways with automation.  As a business, we are in a transition phase which includes growth with established customers, business with new customers, new partnerships and exciting product developments.  Of late, we have had banner quarters in terms of orders and revenue and have hit significant milestones with customers.  In alignment with the progress and to continue our material momentum, we are pleased to announce that Dave Paratore has joined Berkshire Grey as our new CEO.

Dave brings deep leadership experience, having served as CEO of multiple high-tech companies driving innovations in fusion, advanced alloys, superconductors, water conservation, and carbon capture. His background includes leadership roles at Pratt & Whitney across quality assurance, customer support, and engine overhaul. A mechanical engineer with an MBA, Dave is also committed to mentorship, entrepreneurship, and community impact, including teaching at Brown University and supporting the foster care system.

Dave’s talents and energies, combined with those of our other senior management, and frankly combined with every individual in every position across the company, and with the stability of being a SoftBank company, will help us to find new heights in impact and in measurable results.

Everyone, please join me in welcoming Dave to the team.
